Rayleigh’s MP, Mark Francois, called on the specialist services of a local company, to help celebrate 40 years of public service, by a retiring MP. Sir Bill Cash, the MP for Stone, in Staffordshire, retired from Parliament at the recent General Election.
Just prior to his standing down, Mark helped organise a special commemorative dinner for him, at the House of Commons. As part of the event, Mark went to Rayleigh Photographic, in the town’s High Street, to get a copy of the EU (Withdrawal) Act 2020 - part of which Sir Bill personally helped to draft - framed for him, as a memento of his long Parliamentary career.
Commenting on the support from one of his local businesses, Mark said:
“I would like to thank owner David Rasch and his team at Rayleigh Photographic - who recently celebrated their 30th year in business - for doing such a professional job and helping to make a retiring 83 year old MP very happy, when we presented the beautifully framed legislation to him on the night. It’s always good to have assistance from really expert local businesses like this one.”
