Rayleigh & Wickford MP, Mark Francois, kept up a long-standing tradition, when he opened the Rayleigh Art Group’s Annual Exhibition.
The showcase of local artistic talent was held at the Women’s Institute Hall in Bellingham Lane, in the heart of the town and featured work in oils and watercolours by several local artists, from across the wider Rochford District. The exhibition was organised by Group Chairman and Hullbridge resident, Colin Mossman, who also had a number of his own paintings on display.
Commenting whilst opening the 2024 Exhibition, Mark said:
“I am grateful to the Rayleigh Art Group for, once again, kindly inviting we to open this showcase of their talents. We are very fortunate to have several gifted artists operating in the local area and this annual exhibition allows local residents, to see for themselves, the valuable work which the Group and its members undertake, to promote the arts in our community.”
