Rayleigh and Wickford MP, Mark Francois, popped into the newly refurbished Swan pub on Wickford High Street recently and pulled a pint to help celebrate the re-opening of this popular local venue.
Mark, who is a long-standing member of the Campaign For Real Ale (CAMRA), was assisted in his pleasant duty by publican, Ellis and local Wickford County Councillor, Tony Ball.
Speaking about the re-opening of the Swan, Mark said:
“The old Swan pub had been a bit down at heel for ages, so I very much welcome this major refurbishment, which has obviously proved popular with regulars and new customers alike. I wish Ellis and his young team at The Swan all the very best for the future.”
