Rayleigh and Wickford MP Mark Francois lent his support to the nationwide Small Business Saturday campaign last weekend, when his visited A & B Flooring on the Lubbards Farm Business Park, on the Hullbridge Road.
The company, which supplies a wide range of carpets and flooring surfaces to people across Essex and even further afield, is a family run business, managed by Aaron and Barry Boder (hence, A & B).
Small Business Saturday is a cross-party, nationwide campaign to highlight the importance of small businesses, to both the success of the national economy and the economic vibrancy of individual local communities. As part of the campaign, local MPs are encouraged to visit a local small business in their constituencies, to learn more for themselves about the role they play.
Commenting on his visit to A & B Flooring, Mark Francois said:
“I am very grateful to Barry Boder of A & B Flooring for allowing me to spend time visiting the company. I was first made aware of them as one of my neighbours is a regular customer of theirs and has used them repeatedly down the years, with good reports on the service they provide. The company have worked hard to weather the pandemic and I hope they will now go from strength to strength.”
