Mark Francois, MP for Rayleigh and Wickford, recently paid a visit to Caretech UK Ltd, on the Brook Road Industrial Estate in Rayleigh, where he met with owner Tony Mears and his staff before being shown around the premises and learning about what the company does to support people in hospitals and care homes around the country.
Mark had scheduled a visit to Caretech, who are an engineering company specialising in servicing and maintaining assistive technology products, such as hoists and lifts, following a meeting at his local constituency surgery. Mr Mears, who owns Caretech, had met with Mark to discuss some issue relating to his business and the overall economic climate.
At the end of the surgery, Mark asked if he could visit Caretech, to see the company for himself and to learn more about their important work in servicing and maintaining hoists and lifts so that injured or elderly patients can be properly cared for.
Commenting on his visit, Mark Francois said:
"I think it is important to try and visit local businesses in my constituency. I had a very constructive visit with Mr Mears and it was fascinating to look around his premises and learn more about his business. I wish Caretech and all who work there all the best for the future."
