Mark Francois, MP for Rayleigh and Wickford, recently spent a Friday morning visiting the Day Nursery in Rawreth, which is a family run business based in the old Victorian St. Nicholas school building in Rawreth village, which has been converted and updated to provide a 21st century nursery for young children in the Rayleigh and Rawreth area.
During his visit Mark was taken on tour of the nursery by the proprietor Glenda Mitchell and members of her family, who help to run the nursery, which caters for some 70 children from the local area.
Mark was shown the nursery’s internal facilities and also the extensive grounds at the back, where children can play safely in a secure environment.
Commenting on his visit to the Day Nursery, Mark Francois said:
“I had a really pleasant morning visiting the Day Nursery in Rawreth, which struck me as a very successful family run business. You could see that the children there were very happy and that may be one of the reasons why the nursery has been expanding successfully over the past few years. It is good to see small businesses like this succeeding in my constituency and I look forward to remaining in touch with everyone at the Day Nursery in the future.
