Commenting on the events over the Remembrance weekend: Mark said:
“As the son of a D-Day veteran, it was a privilege to attend a number of Remembrance events over the weekend in my constituency. We owe our thanks and gratitude to all those who served bravely and gave their lives for our country. They fought and sacrificed their lives to protect our way of life and the freedom we enjoy. They gave their tomorrow for our today, we will remember them."
