Rayleigh and Wickford MP, Mark Francois, recently spent time after one of his local constituency surgeries to open Olivia’s Roses, a new flower shop which is located at the View Garden Centre’s Craft Village on the Old Chelmsford Road (just off the A1245).
The shop is being run by local businesswomen Theresa Walsh, who has long been interested in floristry and who recently decided to branch out and set up a business of her own.
Mark, who is a friend of the family, was very pleased to be asked to perform the opening ceremony and cut a ribbon to open the shop in front of a number of family and friends.
Speaking about the happy occasion Mark said:
“As a local MP I am always pleased to see small businesses opening in my constituency and I know Theresa has been passionate about having a chance to do this for several years. I am delighted that her and her husband Andrew have now invested in this new florist business and I wish them all the very best for the future.”
