Rayleigh and Wickford MP Mark Francois recently welcomed the Hullbridge U3A when they paid a visit to the Houses of Parliament.
The group were taken on a tour of the Palace of Westminster, including the chambers for both the House of Commons and House of Lords. Hullbridge U3A then met with Mark in Westminster Hall before going on to Westminster Abbey. Mark spent time with the group undertaking a question and answer session, during which he responded on subjects ranging from Brexit and immigration to the US Presidency.
Speaking about the visit by Hullbridge U3A Mark said:
“It was a real pleasure to welcome Hullbridge U3A to Parliament, to see the Palace of Westminster. The group told me they had really enjoyed their tour and I was impressed by the quality of the questions which they came up with afterwards. I look forward to remaining in touch with the Hullbridge U3A in the future.”
