Rayleigh and Wickford MP Mark Francois was delighted to meet Rochford District Cllr Toni Carter, who has recently defected from the Rochford District Residents Grouping on the Council to join the local Conservatives.
Cllr Toni Carter, has represented the Halkwell West Ward on Rochford District Council since 2019 and her husband Mike Carter, is already an existing Conservative Councillor. Commenting on her decision to join the Conservative’s, Cllr Toni Carter said:
“I am very pleased to be joining the Conservative group on Rochford District Council, as I believe that they have the best vision for our local community. I look forward to working alongside all the other Conservative Councillors and our local MP, Mark Francois, for the benefit of all the people in our community."
