Rayleigh and Wickford MP, Mark Francois, took time recently to visit a new, high-quality, care home, called ‘Pinetree’, which is under construction by Barchester Healthcare, at Rawreth Lane, on the western edge of Rayleigh.
The new facility, contains bedrooms for up to 64 residential guests, as well as a cinema room, a bar, and a number of other communal facilities, including a terrace on which residents can relax and enjoy views over the local countryside. As part of his tour, Mark was shown the bar area, which is now nearing completion and which, when fitted out, will provide a relaxing environment for residents (and off-duty staff) to enjoy a pleasant drink.
Commenting on his visit to Pinetree, Mark said:
“As a resident in the Rawreth Lane area myself, I was delighted to have an opportunity to visit this very impressive facility, which I hope people will be glad to call their home. Barchester has developed Pinetree to a very high specification and I look forward to participating in the opening ceremony, which is currently scheduled for May 2024."
