Rayleigh and Wickford MP, Mark Francois, showed his support for WWF’s Earth Hour, at a recent event held in Parliament.
During the event, Mark pledged to do his bit to help protect and restore nature, as part of WWF’s Earth Hour, one of the largest events to help protect the planet. In addition, on Saturday (23rd March) conic iconic UK landmarks, including the London Eye, Liverpool’s Liver Building, and Buckingham Palace, turned off their lights in a show of support for the campaign.
Commenting after the event, Mark Francois MP said:
“As an active member of the Conservative Animal Welfare Foundation, I was delighted to show my support for wildlife globally and the ‘Earth Hour’ initiative specially. It was great to see the event so well supported and we must all continue to do what we can to help protect and restore nature.
