Rayleigh and Wickford MP, Mark Francois, joined forces with other MPs across the country to promote small businesses in their constituencies last Saturday- in his case by supporting Hudson’s Barbers shop, on Rayleigh High Street.
Hudson’s is a long-established local business, run by Mr Mark Hudson (who went to the same school as Mark Francois, St Nicholas in Laindon, and was ‘two years above’ Rayleigh’s local MP, during their school days.)
Mark regularly has his haircut at Hudson’s and was therefore keen to use them as an example of a good local business, that deserves support.
Speaking about his visit to Hudson’s Barber’s and Small Business Saturday in general, Mark Francois MP said:
“Small Business Saturday is a great opportunity for MPs of all parties across the country, to promote the hugely valuable role that small businesses play across the wider economy. We are lucky in Rayleigh that, even despite COVID, we still have quite a vibrant High Street and Hudson’s is a very well-known local business, so I was very pleased to give them my support.”
