Local MP Mark Francois spent time face to face with the Media when he recently visited Southend Radio and met with their news editor Nick Hull. The new station, which covers the Rochford District provides a mixture of music, news and sport and enjoys a listenership ranging from the young to senior citizens, from large parts of Essex.
During his visit Mark toured the station and met with the staff while, in addition, he was also interviewed by Nick Hull on several issues, including the slow progress of roadworks in and around Rayleigh High Street and the fate of the old fire station at Castle Road. Commenting on his visit Local MP Mark said:
