Mark Francois, MP for Rayleigh and Wickford, recently paid a visit to St Nicholas Primary School, in Rayleigh, where he was able to meet with the staff and pupils before being shown around the school itself.
During his visit, Mark met with Headteacher, Mrs Lorna Pigram, to discuss the school’s progress and plans for the future, before being taken on a tour around the classrooms and facilities to see some of the staff and pupils in action. In addition to the tour, Mark also had the chance to address the children in assembly and to explain a bit about the role and duties of a Member of Parliament.
Commenting on the visit Mark said:
“I had a very enjoyable visit to St Nicholas’ Primary School and it was lovely to be able to take a tour around the school and witness, amongst other things, the spirit and enthusiasm of the pupils. I was also pleased to have the chance to speak to the pupils in their assembly. It was good to see that everything at St Nicholas Primary School was so positive and I look forward to staying in touch with the school in the future.”
